Solids Team Lead

Hi! My name is Nicholas (Nick) Kieft, and I am one of the team leads for SRL’s solids efforts. I’m currently a sophomore Aerospace Engineering student. I’ve been a part of SRL since I began my time in college, and last semester I had the opportunity to lead the composite propulsion team. I’m super excited to lead Solids through some of its most ambitious goals ever this year, including our first Spaceshot attempt.

I started on the propellant dev team in 2021 and have since worked with all sides of our solids vehicle development. Liquids Team Lead

Hey! My name is Noah and I’m the lead for our Liquid Engine Development Team. I am currently pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in business. I joined SRL around the end of my sophomore year (going into my fourth year) and have loved it ever since. Our teams current goal is to launch our first liquid engine rocket, Boomslang. Outside of school I love to produce music, train MMA, and hike.

Hello, I'm Lucas and I am a co-lead for the Liquid Engine Development team for CU SRL! I am currently an (somewhat) international senior studying Aerospace Engineering, and have been involved with the club since the fall semester of my junior year. My goal for the team is to take liquids further than ever before and foster an environment of ambitious engineers and success. On my own time, I like to Kitesurf, ski, and teach people how to fly helicopters.

Hello! I’m Winnie and I am the avionics lead for CU SRL, as well as handling system administration when needed. I’m an Aerospace Engineering major entering my junior year who joined SRL two years ago, where I first started writing code for the team’s avionics prior to the launch of Obsidian. Our goal as a team is to create a reliable flight computer capable of verifying that the team’s rocket has reached space. Outside of school, I love to snowboard and hike!

Hi All, my name’s Adrian! I’m a senior in aero and lead for our manufacturing team. I’ve been with SRL since before I even started taking classes at CU and I have industry experience in manufactuing engineering that I can’t wait to apply to our team and help drive our projects to new levels of success! How we living! I am a senior studying Aerospace Engineering here at CU Boulder. I enjoy working with people and forming relationships so I joined the team last spring after an executive council term at my fraternity. I organize and facilitate the team in acquiring sponsorships, developing an alumni network, and publicizing through social media and team videos. Outside of school, I’m very active with snowboarding, running, and surfing!
