The CU Sounding Rocket Laboratory is deeply grateful to the Engineering Excellence Fund for its continued support of our program. EEF's investment has powered SRL's growth from a small student club into a 100+ member organization pushing the boundaries of collegiate rocketry. That growth carried us from October 2025's successful Mamba III launch to 90,000 ft, to our current work on Sunbeam, SRL's first spaceshot vehicle, targeting a 350,000+ ft apogee that would make us only the second student rocketry organization in the world to cross the Kármán line into space. EEF's funding gives hundreds of CU engineers across every discipline the resources to turn classroom learning into real, hands-on aerospace engineering experience, and we're proud to carry that investment forward with every launch.
